Steps to Set your GOAL

Steps to Set your GOAL

What You Need To Be  Successful.

Step One: Desire

The clearer you are about your goals and your dreams, the more success you can achieve.  It starts with your desire.  Do you want to get out of the “Rat Race” forever?  You can create whatever lifestyle you choose.  Most people are content with the way things are in their lives.  However, the people who have dreams and goals along with the desire to “make things happen” are the ones who change the world for the better.
The more desire you have to help yourself and help others achieve their goals and dreams, the more success you can have.  As you realize how rewarding your profession can be, your on the right road towards reaching your goals.

Step Two: Enthusiasm

Your natural enthusiasm and energy can make all the difference.  Many times a new business that has very little training, will experience having attracted more people to their business faster with the first few weeks of getting started.  They’re exited.  Their excitement is contagious.  So, you want to start your business with all the excitement it deserves.  The more you give, and reach out to others, the more people will notice and appreciate why you’re so excited.
The best way to create your success is not to give it a “half-hearted effect,” but to jump in with total excitement, and make up your mind that your business is already a huge success.  Then just go out and do it.

Step Three: Action

Getting started is all about making it happen.  Getting into action is the most important thing you can do.  You’ll discover that you can create your success, make money and earn while you learn.  No one is perfect at what they do, or certainly knows everything when they get started.   And yes, you will make some mistakes along the way, which is exactly how we learn, grow and achieve even more in our business.  Ultimately, it is what strengthens you for the long term.
So, relax and have some fun.  Just make the decision to move ahead and follow your heart.  You’ve already made a smart decision to improve your business marketing.  So, you’re already well on your way!

Step Four: Other People’s Approval Of What You Do

The only approval that really matters is your own and believing in yourself.  This is extremely important, because some of the people that may be the closest to you can be the biggest “dream-stealers.”  This is not intentional.  Often times they are trying to be, what they honestly believe is helpful.  However, they may know very little about your business, or they may never see themselves being successful.  That is exactly why you want to be extremely clear about your own goals and why you are doing the business.
Even your best friends or family members will ridicule you and question why you have chosen to start a new business.  Don’t be surprised, it often happens.
They will also feel obligated to tell you stories about how people failed
in other businesses, which at first may cause you to question yourself.  It’s best to not debate or try to convince them.  Let them believe whatever they want to believe.  Thank them for their input.

Step Five: Cheap Advice – Everyone Has An Opinion

Many times you will inevitably get advice from well intentional friends and family member on how to best build your business.  If you want to know how to fly an airplane, you would ask an expert pilot for advice.  The same is true for your business.  Find someone in your field who has already built a large business.  They are the ones to get your advice from which will save you valuable time and help you be more successful.

Step Six: Need To Be Perfect

No one is perfect and there’s no need to be concern with being perfect or afraid to make a mistake.  The most important thing you can do is just get started, and be willing to learn as you build your business.  Surround yourself with like-minded successful people.

Step Seven:  Set Your Personal Goals

Dreams (Burning Desires) For Achievement
How to begin the process of goal setting:
Write down everything that you would do, be or have if money were of no object and you knew you could not fail.  Take a few moments to think this through.  It is very important that you set monetary goals and commit yourself to them.  This begins the process of bringing success to you.
  • Be specific.   For example, instead of writing “a new car,” write “a 2008 Mercedes SL500 Roadster, diamond-silver metallic with charcoal leather interior.”
  • Write how you would like to spend your days, traveling, spending time with loved ones, pursuing your passions or helping the people in your community to improve the quality of their lives.
  • Describe the person that you want to become – a great leader or speaker, a philanthropist or simply a great role model for your children.
You have now begun the process of defining what is important to you so you can start achieving the life that you desire.
v  Go and look at your goals and experience them.  (Look at your dream home, boat, go drive your vehicle of choice, or visit the college of your children’s choice) Take the time to experience what it is that your want.
v  Assemble a dream book with pictures that represent your dreams.  Make sure you look at this book as often as possible, and on a regular basis go out and touch the things in life that you want to have, be and do.  BUILD YOUR DREAM!
v  Add clear sleeves to this book and slip your dream pic’s into the sleeves for display.  Prominently display your pic’s in your office or home so you are constantly reminded of your dreams

  • Associate with winners and those people that are like-minded, and you will be constantly motivated by the influence of positive people
  • Get a Daily Planner; make your to-do-list everyday and complete your list every day
  • Be consistently persistent
  • Read “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill.
  • Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve. - Napoleon Hill
  • If it is to be, it is up to me!
  • All our dreams come true, if we have the courage to pursue them.– Walt Disney
As one sees Success, it builds ConfidenceConfidence then creates Activity.  The more Activity, the more Success
